The holiday season is almost here which means brisk business is ahead. We strongly encourage you to carry out a few preliminary checks related to Lightning Emergency Mode.
Check # 1 - Please log in and check that you have Version 3.5 or higher of Lightning Emergency Mode. The version number will be listed on the log in screen in the lower left corner as shown above. Be sure to test all registers. If your system does not read Version 3.5 then please call Lightning support for a quick update.
Check # 2 - Review whether you would like to add any new work stations to cope with business. Note: Adding an additional register license will require a six month commitment.
Check # 3 - Perform a practice cash and credit card transaction to ensure your Emergency mode is running smoothly.
Once you have done these checks, you will be all set to cope with the holiday rush in the event of an emergency....an internet outage.
